For us at Maxilite, quality means first-class products with outstanding design that have been produced fairly and sustainably. You can feel under what conditions a product was made when you wear it. We believe that with sustainably produced goods, everyone benefits: the people who work on them, the environment, which is less polluted, and ultimately the people who buy the products. For this reason, we place special emphasis on responsible manufacturing of our products, along the entire value chain, from the selection of our production sites and materials used and prevailing working conditions, to the long durability of our products due to their high quality and timeless designs.
BETTER COTTON
We also attach great importance to sustainability in our materials, so that our production facilities in the textile sector are members of the BCI (Better Cotton Initiative) and can thus guarantee a sustainable value chain as far as possible. The main aim of the BCI is to reduce the negative environmental impact of cotton production and to improve livelihoods and economic development in cotton growing areas.
OUR PRODUCTION SITES
All our products are manufactured exclusively in Europe, largely in Portugal, and have a wide range of certificates that guarantee responsible production (minimized impact on the environment, efficient use of resources, appropriate treatment of the waste generated and "green chemicals", fair working conditions that comply with the principles of the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).
